The 112th Division was a military formation of the People's Volunteer Army (Chinese People's Volunteers (CPV) or Chinese Communist Forces (CCF)) during the Korean War with a standard strength of approximately 10,000 men. It was a component of the 38th Army, consisting of the 334th, 335th, and 336th Regiments.[1]
The 334th Regiment was the first Chinese unit across the Yalu, on October 14, 1950.[2]
The unit appears to still be active with the 38th Group Army in the Beijing Military Region, as the 112th Mechanised Infantry Division.[3]
